Peace, Hope, Freedom, and Love
Femininity
As an Iranian painter born during these hard times of political, economic and government pressure on Iranian women by religious rules, I feel strongly against laws restricting Iranian women that are derived from Islamic thought. Abetted by Islamic rules, women are acid-sprayed, amputated or killed by their Brother, Father, Husband not just due to their gender, but also for their decisions on love or what they wear. Very simple rights are prohibited, for example under Iranian Law, women are not allowed to go into the stadium to watch football although there are millions of women who like football and follow their favorite teams. Women in Iran are not allowed to ride bicycles in public. I realize that peace is nothing without equality for women and men in a healthy society. Equality about everything, equal right, salary, equal opportunities for government jobs for women and men, respect for behavioral decision for all women and men are needed in order to change the thought behind separating women from society by religions rules or old beliefs about their abilities. Therefore nonstop good cultural advertising is required to improve the level of humanity by means of visual art, media and social media. In this artwork, from the painter's view point, Horse is a symbol of Internal emotion of Women that is full of lovely birds to show her natural feelings and abilities. This artwork is all about peace, hope , love and freedom, for all. Hope to respect nature, animals and women's rights. Women have the power of reason, logic, recognition, feeling. No human being has the right to restrict others' freedom under the pretext of religion, sexuality, social or political status, wealth, color or power. Women are equal to men, because both men and women were created human and given equal powers of choice and freedom and liberty.
