About the Artist

Remi Alvarez

Born in Mexico City, Remi Alvarez is a creative artist. He plays tenor and soprano saxophone and transverse flute. He had played in NYC at the vision Festival, in Europe and in South America. He had played with William Parker, Hamid Drake, Joe Morris, Dom Minasi, Tobias Delius, Mark Dresser, among many others. His last recordings are: Zenzontle with his Mexican group Craneo de Jade.
